The position is responsible for a brand and creating brand awareness/equity in light of fierce competition. The incumbent leads implementation of brand strategy/programs.
The key challenge for the position is to effectively coordinate with internal support groups to leverage strengths. The position works under strict deadlines and needs to manage external agencies to deliver quality output.
1. Brand Strategy and Management
- Track brand performance
- Track market for competitor activity. Review research data and align to brand need
- Participate in brand market strategy in conjunction with reporting manager and National marketing Manager
- Plan and conduct market visits to get an on the ground feel of the brand - visibility ; movement market, channels etc
- Design and execute the ground level activities through effect coordination & briefing of event organizers
- Design/launch brand media campaigns with support from media manager and creative agencies-brief concerned parties, manage creative inputs, achieve right media mix and coordinate media campaign launch
- Digital/Social would be an critical element
