Description

Reporting to the CBO, you will be responsible for:

- Maximising profitability and meeting sales targets

- Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales

- Managing, motivating and training the team to ensure maximum efficiency

- Organising special promotions, displays and events

- Touring the sales floor regularly, identifying and resolving urgent issues

- Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing

- Overseeing pricing and managing stock levels

- Responding to customer queries and complaints

- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation

- Manage and control the stores local budgets

- Drive walk ins / conversions

- Manage sell out targets

Profile

- A minimum of 4 years of experience in the retail operations

- Candidates with fashion industry background will be preferred

- Good communication and negotiation skills

- Analytical skills with good computer knowledge

- Must have good leadership qualities; candidates with proven record of man management will be preferred

- High level of influencing skills and result oriented individual with great integrity
