We have an opening for "Brand Manager-OTC/ Category Manager" Hyderabad.

Position: There are 2 openings, Brand Manager / Category Manager for OTC division

Location: Hyderabad

Experience : Brand Manager- 2+ yrs, Category Manager- 5+ yrs

Note: Candidate must have experience in OTC division in Pharmaceutical or FMCG industries

Key Skills Required:

Particulars

1. Analytical Skills – Ability to analyze data and interpret it to the field. Drawing inference from raw data. Ability to understand information sources, leverage them and interpret it for business development, market share improvement and managing revenues.

2. Influencing Skills – getting results for topline and bottomline through people and coordination with multiple departments for smooth operations of the products in the basket and new product planning and launch.

3. Curiosity/ Questioning skills – Ability to bring out the best in the team by constantly probing on the communication/ Inputs.

4. Creativity - Designing literature for sales force on product communication.

5. Presentation & Articulation Skills – to be able to present to various levels of stakeholders on the area of marketing.

6. Written Communication – to write, brand strategic documentation etc

7. Project Management – Manage projects like NPD, packaging, etc to deliver on timelines.

Responsibilities:

Achievement of topline and bottom line

- Drives brand growth on year to year basis.

- Improve market share of his/her brands by effective communication strategy for creating differentiated positioning

- Work with External media and creative agencies to make sure that media execution is line with media strategy and brand plan.

- Articulate the strategy and marketing plan for the brand to the team to reproduce it in the communication to build the brand recall in the consumers.

- Ensure smooth operations of marketing deliverables like visual aid, agreed inputs, literature and cycle meets etc to field sales.

- Constantly take feedback on market intelligence from sales management team about the brand movements and competitor activities.

- Analyze the brand/ category performance through syndicated and customized data / research data points.

- Achieve cost improvements over the agreed SG&A expenses.

Brand & Consumer Activation

- Design develop and implement brand / consumer relevant activations.

- Evaluate against action standards and set metrics.

Consumer Understanding

- Develop complete consumer understanding of the brand consumer segments

- Plan and execute various market research / insighting studies that will monitor current products and evaluate opportunities & future products.

Planning

- Involve in the annual budgeting with a constant focus to move up the ladder in the category leadership.

- Set objective for next year based on the learnings from the market intelligence and performance in all the brands
