Branch Manager - Sales Location: Bangalore Required competencies - Manage distributors across the given territory along with the sales officers. - Ensure to Modern Trade and General Trade stores daily and monitor programs. - Should be able to determine annual category wise and gross-profit plans for their allocated territory by implementing Sales strategies; analysing trends and results. - Should be able to establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales targets for their region; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. - Able to implement regional sales strategy/ programs by developing sales action plans. - Able to Complete sales operational requirements for the region by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results. - Maintains sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees for their region. - Maintains sales staff job results by counselling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. - Maintains professional and technical knowledge by establishing personal networks with Modern Trades/General Trades/Institutions/other clients. - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. - Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets. - Experience in General trade, Regional modern trade, Modern Trade. - Good working knowledge of Excel (v lookup). - Typical work week will have 3 days in the market, 2 days region modern trade visit and 1 day in office. Salary offered: 14-15LPA
