Job Overview Branch is looking for a talented Collections Lead to manage in-house and outsourced collections operations. This includes building and maintaining relationships with collections agencies and working with global stakeholders to monitor and improve our loan portfolio's health. Responsibilities - Drive the overall strategy for collecting Branch loans - Source, negotiate deals, and onboard new debt collections agencies - Manage partnerships with collections agencies by implementing new processes, as needed, and by setting and monitoring KPIs - Conduct regular performance reviews and team trainings for Collections Associates (in-house and outsourced) - Regularly analyze collections data and continuously improve processes - Design and run experiments to continuously improve cure rates, defaults and delinquency - Research and pilot new best-in-class collections practices - Optimize calls and other collections practices through automation, testing of timing, content and other factors to generate the largest possible returns - Investigate suspected fraud and develop processes to prevent it in the future - Collaborate with global Product, Finance, Credit and Collections teams on various initiatives to improve collections features and processes and also to recommend product changes with the aim to improve repayment rates Qualifications - Business Degree (graduation is a must and post graduation is preferred) - 3-5 years of experience with vendor management with the ability to work well with outsourcing agencies and manage them for results - Highly entrepreneurial and comfortable with ambiguity and taking initiative - Deep understanding of successful process implementation and improvement initiatives - Excellent communicator, collaborator and team player - Extremely analytical with expert Excel skills Benefits of Joining - Mission-driven and fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment - Competitive salary and equity package - Comprehensive private health insurance - Generous vacation policy - Weekly team meals Branch International is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
