We have been retained by a renowned FMCG multinational client with strong presence in India and worldwide.
We are looking at a person to join them as Branch HR Manager- Chennai for their South India Operations, who can set the HR objectives and formulate the strategies and ensure their attainment within the India region. The position is a part of Senior Management team.

Job Title : Branch HR Manager - South

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for overall Human Resources activities and supporting the business strategy in the location by translating and implementing it thru HR action. Contributes to the development of a performance driven culture in the organisation by driving people in order to improve quality of their performance and to meet the Company’s objectives as a whole.

1. Quality and Timeliness of Manpower Planning – Recruitment & Dispositions

2. Performance Management - Quality and Timeliness

3. Talent Identification & Engagement

4. Training Delivery as per plan

5. Location Statutory Compliance

Job Summary:

1. Manpower Planning and Projections: strong focus on job and candidate profiling and timely provision for appropriate Manpower as per Business needs

2. Performance Management: alignment of individual performance objectives with critical business goals; identification of development needs; inputs and facilitation to ensure quality of PMS; and to support execution of development plans.

3. Talent Identification: identification and classification of talent pool with Line Managers and discussions for the identified talent pool wrt to critical positions

4. Organizational Capability Development: to focus on developing people capability to achieve sustainable business growth in line with the overall objectives of the organization by focusing on Soft Skills Training

5. Employee Communication & Involvement: to have appropriate Reward and Recognition programme and initiatives for enhancing employee engagement. Also to have processes for communication on HR policies, organizational changes and business results.

6. Compensation & Benefit: Communicate and implement the C&B policies and processes as outlined for the Company and act as point of contact for all C&B related aspects at the location.

7. HR Statutory Compliance: responsible for the overall HR compliance on Labour Law front in the various functioning of the Branch operations

Eligibility Criteria:

The client is looking at hiring candidates from reputed institutes, ideally batch of 2006/07/08/09. Should have strong exposure to HR in FMCG/Durable/Retail/Telecom Industry.
