- Lead, direct and manage team by identifying and deploying best practices and innovative strategies for Supply chain operations at our Chennai Branch.
- Lead all indirect procurement activity and resultant management activities for Chennai Branch.
- Complete purchasing order processing with Benchmarking of Vendor pricing against market rates.
- Support internal customer by inputting knowledge and acting as the interface for any related requirements.
- Manage supply chain, logistics and imports of all the shipments for Chennai Branch.
- Effectively negotiate with vendors and ensure internal customer satisfaction & ensure compliance of commercial policies and statutory norms.
- Plan & control commercial system, AMCs & contract, MIS, review of commercial processes & system.
- Create supply chain capability across the Chennai region.
- Work closely with the business teams to understand their purchasing needs and align them with the best suppliers to meet their long-term goals while focusing on total cost of ownership
- Implement supply and supplier risk management actions and support resolution of supplier quality or performance issues.
