Kraft Foods acquired Cadbury Plc in 2010. The combination of Kraft Foods and Cadbury created a global powerhouse in snacks, confectionery and convenient meals. Kraft Foods had two very different portfolios which would benefit from being run separately. Hence Kraft Foods split in to two companies on October 1, 2012, with focused portfolios: Mondelez International: A global snacking business Kraft Foods: A North American grocery and beverage business.

Describe the broad function and scope of the position:

As part of the IS & Strategy division in the IS organization the PMO team covers portfolio, program & project and change management. The projects and program management team is located throughout the globe - and work with stakeholders across the globe across all process areas on implementation of global projects and programs. The candidate will be part of this area, and primary objective of this role is to support the BPE Project Management Efforts for various projects within the organization. As one of the senior members of the team, the incumbent will be assigned to manage transformational programs for Mondelez within the IS/BPE area

Describe the primary responsibilities of the position in order of importance and identify % of time spent on that responsibility: Percentage of Time:

1. Manage large programs consisting of multiple projects, driving achievement of strategic business results through excellent program management skills

2. Within assigned programs, responsible for :

- overall definition and management of program plan, including integration of multiple project plans

- tracking of project milestones and deliverables incl status reporting

- set up and track metrics showing program outcomes are being realised

- managing of risks/issues across the program and escalate through governance where needed

- stakeholder engagement and management across the program, including senior stakeholders within IS/BPE function and outside of the function; conflict resolution between stakeholders

- financial management of overall program

- manage overall resourcing requirements on the program, identifying gaps ahead of time + ensuring team has sufficient skills to execute assigned roles

- program governance incl chairing of steering committees and other program governance meetings as relevant

- managing of interdependencies between projects

- lead change management activities together with assigned change lead - or with coaching from change management team, including communications across the program

- benefits realisation

- usage of and advocate for DIAL methodology within program; implement DIAL stage gates and assessments in program

- other program mgt responsibilities as relevant for assigned programs

3. Utilize deep industry knowledge to further develop program & project management capability within Mondelez

4. Provide strong cross functional leader for Mumbai delivery centre

5. Coaching of project managers within the function

Internal and external contacts:

Dependent on scope of program but typically senior management within business and IS COEs

Colleagues within IS/BPE PMO and BPE COE team

3rd party vendors for program execution as and when relevant

COMPETENCIES/ABILITIES: These are key observable/measurable skills, knowledge and behaviors required that contribute to successful performance in the position. (e.g., drive for results, customer focus, etc.).

- Strong knowledge of Project Management in industry standards and best practices as PMP

- Highly evolved business savvy and very strong knowledge of business processes in several functional areas

- Understanding and proven application of portfolio/program/project management theory and risk management techniques

- Experience in client-facing role and international experience in the FMCG/Consumer Services industry

- Experience in project management, leading projects from inception to completion

- Strong organisational & change management skills, managing multiple agendas and deliverables, in time pressured environments and in global context

- Strong communication, organizational, negotiating, process-oriented and analytical skills: written and spoken, with evidenced ability to collaborate across teams, distil and be self-directed with ability to prioritize effectively

- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with confrontation, ambiguity and work with all levels of the organisation - including senior stakeholders across the globe

- Excellent team management skills with a strong result orientation with excellent Persuasion, team management and conflict resolution skills

- Proactive, energetic and drive for results: results oriented, can do attitude, positive behaviour

- Ability to work with multi-location teams (on-site, off-site, offshore)

- Aware of, and able to work with, cultural differences, both locally and internationally

- Self-reliant, detail-oriented and a fast learner

- Fluency in English
