Our existing cities run around 35-45 restaurants/ city with an average annual gross revenue of Rs. 60 to 80 Cr in each city. Our current expansion plans intend to take each city to over 70+ restaurants, with annual gross revenue of over Rs.150 Cr. To support these revenue figures, each city has a 24x7 running plant of around 20,000+ sq. ft carpet area, which processes the entire food production, raw material (RM) + packaging material (PM) procurement, warehousing activities, and cold-chain logistics for the restaurants in the city. The Plant Head shall lead this entire unit and take care of all the above-mentioned activities for the city.
The detailed responsibilities of the Plant Head are mentioned below:
- Plant Operations: Manage operations for the entire plant to ensure 100% production targets are met and minimal wastage incurred.
- Team management: Lead & grow a direct team of 6 department heads along with 100+ individuals across different levels to coordinate the seamless plant activities.
- Machinery & Equipment: Research about plant machinery & equipment, benchmark competition activities and accordingly upgrade the plant's production line with the most suited technology
- Process adherence: Ensure 100% adherence with respect to processes around - ordering, receiving, production, warehousing, dispatch, etc.
- Warehousing: Manage a massive warehouse with 1000+ SKUs across categories
- Cold-chain logistics: Coordinate with the in-house & outsourced cold-chain logistics team to ensure timely & systematic daily food deliveries.
- Process Excellence & Automation: Re-engineer our existing processes to improve efficiency. Also help in automating the processes & work with tech-team to develop applications for the same.
- Brand/Category/Product Launches: Work in tandem with the Product team and corporate chefs to launch new brands, categories & products in your city.
- Supply Chain management: Own and work around the key aspects of operations - inventory planning, material procurement, vendor management, etc.
- Preferred Skills: Working knowledge of manufacturing methods, process improvements, problem-solving techniques and procedures. Familiarity with HACCP, SOP, GMPs will be a plus
