JOB ROLE - Regional Sales Manager - PTL + Express + Franchisee
JOB LOCATION - Ahmedabad
JOB DESCRIPTION :
1) Improve Existing Sales Performance
- Increase Customer-wise profitability and cross selling of business into FTL, Ware Housing etc.
- Ensuring timely collections from PTL and Express clients.
- Drive relevant customer-facing FSC Processes (E-Billing etc).
- Share reports on weekly region-wise sales results.
- Keep a track of Planned v/s Actual on regional sales and operational metrics of PTL and Express.
- Responsible for collection of revenues.
2) New Business Development
- Signing of new accounts (New Business Acquisition) in PTL and Express.
- Negotiate to acquire profitable deal for BNF.
- Ensure all relevant clauses are included and signed off during contract signing stage.
- Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction.
3) Franchisee Development
- Appoint and onboard new franchisees
- Understand the requirements of the franchisees and managing them
4)Coordination with Service Team
- Communicate and coordinate with Service/Operation Team and other internal departments to ensure service levels (SLAs) are maintained.
5) Team Management and Development:
- To support in acquiring, retaining, training, growing and motivating the Sales Team to drive performance for BNF.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION :
- 8+ years of experience in Sales in the Logistics industry
- Graduate from any stream or Engineer
- MBA in Logistics or Sales & Marketing (Preferred)
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES :
- Domain expertise
- Experience in all verticals of logistics
- Customer identification and knowledge/acquaintance with key decision makers
- Good Network base in the logistics industry
- Ability to liase closely with the local operations team
- Understanding of operational costs and revenue models / customer-wise profitability
- Ability to build strong teams
- Comfortable in dealing with ambiguities
- Proactive, self-starter, ability to work independently
- Good understanding of the local geography, culture, market characteristics/traits
- Knowledge of MIS & good technical know-how
