Senior Analyst/Principal Buy Side in a Boutique Offshore Fund (Bowhead India Fund)

- Minimum 7 years of buyside/sell side experience in listed Indian equities out of which with minimum 4 years should be on the buy side - mutual Fund/FPI/PMS/Family office. Location either Gurgaon (HQ) or Mumbai as optional.

- The firm shares carry (performance fee) with senior analysts and looking to hire analysts who can eventually graduate into role of partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Part of senior team in evaluation of investment opportunities in Indian stock market from ideation to recommending exit, tracking companies in multiple sectors. The person should have either in-depth understanding of minimum 2 sectors or be a general bottom-up stock picker across sectors. Should be a stock picker with passion for making alpha and winning and have an absolute return orientation.

- Fund Profile: Bowhead India Fund is a long only offshore fund investing in a concentrated portfolio 15-20 companies with medium term to long-term view (2 years to 5 years). The Fund manages money for institutional investors. The firm invests with a view to generate large outperformance to benchmarks over a 2-3-year period. The Fund invests across the market cap spectrum though generally more than two third is in midcaps and small caps. The Fund has one of the better track records with 50 pec annualized gross returns in INR since its inception in Dec 2019.
