Bowhead India Fund is focused long only offshore fund investing in a concentrated portfolio of midcap and small cap stocks with a long term view. Candidate Profile : - High analytical skills, numbers oriented, proficiency with excel and ability to do financial analysis is a must for the job. People who don't enjoy number crunching or financial analysis should not apply. - Experience minimum 2 years to maximum 5 years in sell side or buy side equity research, family offices, rating agencies, big 4 firms, investment banking, financial KPOs, treasury, corporate finance or investor relationship in corporates - Education preferably CA /CFA / MBA, Masters in Finance. - Age below 28 years on the date of applying Responsibilities : - Building and maintenance of financial models, analyzing financial statements, updating and tracking quarterly results and annual reports. - Due diligence on companies through channel checks and secondary resources - The job would involve meeting managements of companies and attending quarterly calls - In case the analyst has prior relevant experience, he/she would be given responsibilities to research companies or sectors. - The associate would support the Fund Manager and senior analysts in their efforts to research Companies. Over a period the Analyst could become lead analyst for a few companies or sectors Resume or cover letter should contain following details : - Date and year of birth - Should mention clearly starting and ending month of jobs and internships as well as location/cities. - Education qualifications month and year stating from 12th standard. The cities the person was based out of while undergoing these qualifications - Fixed Salary - Bonus last year, if any - Mention the amount in INR thousands (- 000s). - Notice period in the current job - Global sector expertise, if any - Indian sector expertise, if any. Please mention the name of the sectors along with level of expertise (High, Medium, Low) - Which of the databases have used previously. (E.g. - ACE Equity, CapitaLine, Bloomberg, any other.) - If ever done financial analysis or researched any listed Indian company - Name max 5 companies - Indian annual reports you have read, if any mention - Books read on investing and valuations, if any mention - If ever invested in stock markets personally or managed someone else's money - Last drawn fixed salary.
