Bounce - Senior Data Scientist/Lead Data Scientist

Purpose of the role:

- The Data Sciences team is responsible for solving a wide variety of problems across areas of Consumer, IOT systems, Fulfillment, and Operations, leveraging techniques that fall broadly in Estimation, Predictive Modeling, and Optimization. Examples include: Use sensor data and customer feedback to determine a reliability score for a bike; optimize bike placement using ground operations team, in order to better match supply and demand.

- We are looking for a Data Scientist to provide end-to-end solutions to key projects, starting from data analysis and problem formulation, to designing and implementing the solution to achieve business impact

List of requirements:

- 3-12 years of experience in building modeling and optimization systems

- Familiarity with tech stack - R/Python, SQL

- Good knowledge of Machine Learning and Optimization techniques, along with sound fundamentals - Probability, Algorithms

- Ability to take up complex, open-ended problems, and find suitable solution structures

- Ability to communicate and present with clarity and conviction

List of Responsibilities:

- Provide end-to-end solutions to specific projects in Consumer, IOT systems, Fulfillment, Operations

- Work with Business, Product and Engineering stakeholders to frame the problem, available levers, and solution structure

- Perform data analysis to understand the behavior of the target system

- Design a suitable solution framework, balancing the short term and long term requirements

- Implement the solution and integrate it with the production systems

- Determine the impact through suitable A/B testing frameworks
