Offline Sales - Territory Sales Manager

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and achieving targets within your assigned territory. Your primary objective will be to develop a deep understanding of the market landscape, appoint and manage area distributors, and expand the width and depth of distribution channels to maximize sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Meet and exceed assigned territory sales targets by implementing strategic sales plans and initiatives.

- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the market dynamics, including customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends.

- Identify and appoint area distributors, and effectively manage relationships to ensure optimal distribution coverage.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and key stakeholders in the territory to drive sales growth and market penetration.

- Implement strategies to increase sales through tertiary channels, ensuring a strong presence and control over distribution depth.

- Utilize vernacular language proficiency to effectively communicate and negotiate with stakeholders in the territory.

- Demonstrate proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes, tracking sales performance and market trends to inform decision-making.

- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align sales strategies and support business objectives.

- Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to management.

Qualifications & Experience:

- MBA degree or equivalent in Business Administration or related field.

- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in managing sales territories.

- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market environment.

- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.

- Fluent in the vernacular language required for the sales territory.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving sales objectives.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
