Lead Human Resources function for AMEA R&D located in Gurgaon. Work closely with Director AMEA R&D towards skilling and scaling talent (existing and new), Partner with HR leaders and HR Centers of Excellence to address and satisfy the strategic needs of client group. Provide HR leadership and direction to organization and may manage team members at the site level. This role will coordinate closely with the global functional HR teams as well as the local and regional HR teams.

The role will report directly to Director AMEA R&D and matrix reporting to Sr Manager HR, R&D /GBS/IT (India)

Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for providing HR leadership and team direction in following areas: competency development, succession planning, talent management, talent acquisition, employment law compliance, employee relations, employee engagement, change management and process improvement.

- Responsible for ensuring Talent needs for the AMEA R&D are met (short and long term) basis AOP for the year .This role will have particular emphasis on Talent acquisition in the short term while the workforce is growing and Talent management, retention and career planning in the long term.

- Coach and consult with management on issues affecting employee motivation, performance, development, and organization effectiveness, helping to determine root causes and recommending appropriate next steps.

- Provide guidance and direction to client group(s) to ensure consistent, equal and fair treatment of all employees. Consult with managers to ensure the consistent application of and adherence to company policies and procedures.

- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to address and satisfy client group(s) requirements. Apply knowledge of key business drivers in making decisions related to human capital.

- Introduce, lead and influence change management initiatives with client group leaders in order to address issues that will enhance overall performance and build the overall human capital capability of the organization.

- Continuous development and sustenance of the Culture of Innovation, High Performance aligned with iCREATE framework.

- Work with Global and local partners on leading and managing AMEA R&D expat program (short term and long term)

- Work on future short term / long term talent relocation from AMEA R&D to other sites outside Gurgaon

- Working closely with TEC HR partner to provide regular updates and work on specific HR R&D related projects

- Managing Local legal entity HR compliances

- Leading and executing the campus hiring program for AMEA R&D year on year (both management schools and technical institutes)

- Creating, modifying and executing relevant employee policy framework

- Working on Succession Planning for critical positions

- Leading the Talent Retention program for AMEA R&D

- Conduct and manage investigation of complaints and concerns that could result in legal ramifications; assess the severity, involve appropriate individuals and facilitate appropriate action based on policy and practice.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree required / Master's Degree Preferred

- Experience in Med devices R&D centres preferred

- Experience in High Tech Industries / Captive R&D centres / Healthcare preferred

- Experience delivering HR services in India Market required

- 7-8 years of experience in Human Resources, working across multiple HR disciplines - Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Employee Relations, Total Rewards, Employee Engagement, and Diversity and Inclusion

Soft Skills

- Excellent interpersonal communication skills including oral, written, and listening skills with a track record of communicating complex concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff, including at senior executive levels

- A positive attitude, innovative and creative thinker.

- Responsible risk taking and risk management.
