BookMyForex - Manager - Social Media & Content Marketer

As Manager of Social Media & Content in BookMyForex, you will manage our overall social media presence and create several eloquent writing pieces that would become the voice of the company. You will work with multiple departments including SEO, marketing, sales, PR, engineering and directly with the founders to craft artistic content and potentially-viral ideas that can be effectively disseminated via several channels. Your role will, therefore, require cross-functional knowledge of all aspects of the company. Apart from being a linguistic artisan and a social bee, you will also need to be a quick learner in order to create content that is factually correct and communicated effectively

Responsibilities:

- Deeply integrate with every major department in the organization and get an excellent handle of our marketing campaigns, product features, USPs, sales pitches etc. Sit in on meetings with every department

- Craft beautifully written documents that succinctly and effectively communicate the content that needs to be communicated. Specifically, you will:

- Manage the entire organization's social media presence. Come up with a social and content calendar that will keep our audience engaged and wanting more

- Manage ROI and business impact of all of your efforts

- Effectively represent BookMyForex on multiple forums. Introduce and describe our offerings, USPs etc - Corporate communications

- Revamp BookMyForex's blog and perform blogger outreach to get your blogs posted on other prominent websites

- Reach out to influencers and partner with them to create engaging content that can be consumed by a much larger audience

- Perform extensive research to create high-quality SEO-friendly long-form content that is supplemented with video, infographics, memes, SlideShare etc. that helps drive organic traffic to our website

- Actively participate in several important forums and websites such as Quora, TripAdvisor, Skyscanner etc. to drive high-quality SEO friendly links back to our site

- Create newsletters for our database on a regular basis

- Create high impact videos, infographics, memes and images along with our design team

- Use social listening tools to generate more leads/ business and also to track and report customer feedbacks to our customer support team

- Create ad copies for the marketing department

- Create content for the SEO and social media team

- Conceptualize and create newsworthy press releases

- Create brochures for the sales team

- Effectively describe new engineering features to our vendors, agents, and customers

Requirements

- Bachelors degree/PG or higher in journalism/ arts/ or other English intensive major

- Amazing handle on written English. Prior experience of authoring high-quality content for newspaper columns, content sites, blogs or any other kind of publication

- High IQ and excellent ability to research and extract data from the internet

- Prior experience of managing a blog or running a successful content marketing campaign is a strong plus

- Excellent understanding of SEO. Past experience of driving significant traffic through content would be a strong plus

- Excellent exposure of managing social media presence of large/ semi-large brands

- Excellent ability to create user engagement and brand awareness by creating hard-hitting, humorous, witty & engaging creatives that have the potential to go viral

- Experience of managing social media paid ads on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram Quora

- Actively listen and take part in relevant social conversations

- Experience of discovering and working with bloggers and influencers

- Experience of capitalizing on social media trends

- Experience of researching and identify small groups and communities on social media platform where our target market - hangs out- . Ability to join such communities and engage in active and natural discussions
