About the Job

As a member of the Corporate Development team, you will play a key role in defining the company's growth strategy through inorganic means in existing and new areas.

Job description:

- Identifying key areas and opportunities for inorganic growth by researching industry trends, competitive landscape and providing insights to drive decision making

- Researching and prospecting targets for investment/acquisition

- Evaluating potential targets from market, financial, strategic and structuring perspective

- Preparing detailed investment memos

- Building and managing relationships with the startup ecosystem including entrepreneurs, investors, bankers, consultants etc.

- Coordinating and helping with implementation from the time of initial contact through to deal closure including financial & legal due diligence, financial analysis, preparing investment memorandums, negotiation of term sheets and deal documents

- Supporting post-investment/acquisition integration

- Supporting fundraising and corporate structuring

Required skills/qualifications

- 4-6+ years work experience in Corporate Development, Venture Capital (preferred) or Investment Banking

- MBA/CA from a top tier college

- Strategic thinking combined with good knowledge of the technology landscape and startup ecosystem

- Strong corporate finance, analytical and communication skills

- Good understanding of deal documents is preferred

- Hustling spirit and passion for deal making

- Self-motivated, ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
