BNY Mellon Technology - Cloud Architect - IT Infrastructure

Role Description :

- You will be subject matter expert on various areas of IT Infrastructure - Compute (server), virtualization & consolidation, storage, network, software defined environments and security.

- Should have hands on experience in the field of virtualization technologies from (at least one vendor) IBM, VMware, Microsoft, Redhat and a good grasp of Cloud Computing concepts and building blocks of creating an end-to-end private and public IaaS / PaaS cloud solutions and hybrid Cloud solutions.

- Will be required to engage with multiple vendors at business level, understanding security/compliance requirements, translating them to technology solutions, writing scope-of-work and presenting technical solutions to them. Must be able to manage large and complex projects working in a matrix environment.

Desired Skills and Experience :

- Total experience should be 18+ Years and relevant and proven experience (3-4 years) in following subject matter areas

- Understanding on innovative technologies like containers, Scalar, Kuberneties, Mesos, Zookeper, Marathon, Micro service architecture, Cloud Foundry, Openstack, Cloud Forms, Manage IQ.

- Indepth understanding for Cisco UCS and POD architecture, Infrastructure performance tuning.

- Infrastructure (Server/Storage/Network) sizing, consolidation, virtualization and thin-provisioning

- Hyper-visors - KVM/RHEV, VMware vSphere/ESX, Microsoft Hyper-V, Veritas Storage Foundation and Cluster Server

- Software/Application development - Any high-level programming language

- Sripting: Shell (Bash, Unix), Power CLI,

- Networking - Legacy Networking and Software Defined Networking,

- Storage - Legacy Storage and Software Defined Storage, Object Storage,

- Security - Deep understanding of application, server, storage and network security measures

- Operating Systems - Unix, Linux, Windows

- PaaS - IBM Bluemix, OpenShift- or any other competitive platform

- Experience working on multiple tools of CI - Ansible, Puppet, iPaaS - Azure or AWS.

- Expert in IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solution implementation
