Manager Business Development
About the role:
The Business Development role is responsible for capturing new client opportunities and growing partnerships. We're looking for people who are passionate about technology and business.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sales revenue on the assigned territories, industries and/or clients.
- Establish credibility and rapport with prospect and existing clients.
- Analyze client information to effectively qualify a scope of opportunities.
- Coordinate with Bluebik's consulting teams to develop client solutions.
- Take ownership of the proposal process for all new client projects.
- Effectively executes pitching, negotiating, and sales closing process.
- Proactively manage client contacts on a regular basis to develop positive, long-term, business relationships.
- Initiate market strategy by monitoring competitive products and providing feedback from clients.
- Conduct demonstrations, client workshops and/or training as needed.
- Conduct a weekly report and present the business development progress with management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/PG degree in business administration, technology, or any related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Business Development position in leading professional services, business consulting, IT consulting or technology solutions companies.
- Excellent commercial and financial analysis skills are an advantage.
- Strong understanding of client and market requirements.
- Ability to develop and propose software solutions to existing or potential clients.
- Experience managing and closing complex B2B sales cycles with C-level decision makers.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales revenue targets.
- Ability to collaborate well in a fast-paced global team environment with a sense of urgency to meet and exceed client expectations.
- A strong communicator both verbal and written with senior stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced level of English communications with advanced PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills
- Hands-on and willing to roll up sleeves with flexibility.
- Ability to travel to client sites as necessary.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Airtable applications
