Blouin Artinfo - Audience Development Director

The Audience Development Director will be responsible for all audience development activities across the business.

Specifically this role will be responsible for formulating and executing an organization-wide new subscriber acquisition and retention for our print and digital portfolios.

The audience development director will also recommend and implement a data driven strategy around all of our audience development activity and will be the lead person liaising with the digital and marketing teams on the construction and use of data sets to drive engagement and revenues from activities including but not limited to events and e-commerce.

Additionally, working with the search team in India, the audience development director will direct all website traffic-driving initiatives including but not limited to SEO.

The audience development director will also be expected to recommend and implement strategies to drive digital edition sales and will be the lead person in identifying and concluding new digital edition agreements.

Working with the circulation manager, who will report to the audience development director, you will be the main point of contact with our fulfillment house and will recommend future fulfillment strategy.

Working with the Events Director, the audience development director will play a key role in formulating a global events marketing strategy.

Critical to this role will be spearheading audience/readership research for use by both the editorial and business teams to refine our product offerings and advertising sales efforts as well as working with the US and global advertising teams and our offshore marketing support team to create marketing materials that support advertising sales.

Some responsibility for PR activities in the context of marketing may also be included in this role.
