Create and manage accounting charter for the organization by putting the right control &amp; governance in a timely &amp; scalable manner. Accounts Payable : - Review of all the indirect expenses and direct expenses - Managing the cost vs budget for each department - Ensuring accurate booking of expenses /cost centers and adequate provisioning on a monthly basis Payroll and Employee Reimbursement: &nbsp; - Review of monthly payroll activities including on-roll and off-roll employees - Managing employee reimbursement and adherence to Company policies - Ensuring compliances with applicable labor and other statutory laws General ledger &amp; Controllership : - Managing the monthly book closure activities for India as well as global operations - Review of the Balance Sheet and monthly income statements - Publishing monthly MIS for respective departments - Liaising with multiple departments on budget vs actual numbers - Periodic reviews of the financial numbers with the annual plan. - Internal control compliances Intercompany Transactions : - Ensuring the intercompany transactions are recorded at arm- length and periodic review of the same Direct taxes &amp; Indirect taxes : - Compliance with the WHT requirements - Compliance with the GST requirements - Preparation of tax returns - Managing the tax audit - Responding to the tax assessment notices and liaising with the consultant on representing the cases. Statutory Audit : - Completion of statutory audit on time under IND AS - Ensuring minimal gap between the MIS and signed financials - Liaising with Big4 to complete the various certifications Financial Processes &amp; SOPs : - Creation of financial SOPs - Identification of financial risk to the organization and developing the mitigating plan - Cost control and new initiatives - Managing multiple stakeholders under changing business environments - Tax optimization
