Black Box - Senior SAP Role - Production Planning Module

Job Description:

This role is responsible for planning, executing, and supporting all aspects of SAP Production Planning (PP) within the organization.

While certifications like S/4 HANA and SAP PP are a plus, the ideal candidate will possess strong experience in implementing, developing, and supporting SAP PP functionalities across various production processes.

Knowledge of SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) is also considered an advantage.

Responsibilities:

SAP Implementation and Support:

- Plan and execute SAP PP implementation/development/support activities.

- Manage full end-to-end PP implementations (if applicable).

- Ensure smooth integration between PP and other SAP modules.

- Provide post-go-live support for production issues.

- Production Planning Processes:

Implement and maintain various SAP PP processes, including:

- Make-to-Stock (MTS)

- Make-to-Order (MTO)

- Repetitive Manufacturing

- Production Subcontracting

- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

- Long-Term Planning (LTP)

- Material Planning

-Manage Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes within SAP.

Master Data and Planning:

- Manage PP master data (production versions, bills of material, work centers, etc. ).

- Utilize Master Planning functions within SAP.

Production Order Management:

- Manage the creation, modification, and confirmation of production orders.

- Oversee the management and confirmation of process orders (if applicable).

- Material Management (MM): (Working knowledge required)

- Maintain Material Master data accuracy.

- Manage the Procure-to-Pay cycle within SAP (if applicable).

-Understand material valuation and account determination processes.

Integration and Interfaces:

- Possess a strong understanding of key integration points between PP and other SAP logistics modules (MM, WM, etc. ).

- Configure and manage interfaces between SAP and external systems using IDocs, RFCs, and other methods.

Enhancements and Support:

- Develop and implement enhancements to address production-related issues.

- Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for production support.

Qualifications:

- Extensive experience in Production Planning and a solid understanding of production processes.

- Proven experience in implementing, developing, and supporting SAP Production Planning (PP) modules.

- Experience with various SAP PP functionalities, including MRP, BOMs, routings, product costing, etc. (Experience with variant configuration is a plus).

- Working knowledge of SAP Material Management (MM) modules is required.

- Experience integrating SAP with external systems is highly desirable.
