Sr Manager International Business ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Will be responsible for generating new leads, managing the entire sales cycle from enquiry to order booking, covering sampling, product specification finalization, trial orders, contracting with brand owners (Retail supermarkets, E commerce brands, Grocery delivery chains, Wholesale E commerce chains, Wholesale Cash and Carry, Independent Buyers) - Responsible for the design and production of products for private labels. - Develops merchandising strategies, budgets, sales targets, and profit objectives. - Ensures that the label meets sales and profit goals. - Owning P&L for Private Label Vertical. - Responsible for Sales, Marketing, Operations of the vertical. - Market research in order to understand customer needs and identifying SKUs - Defining and evaluating the Vendor quality and performance matrix. - Working closely with the stakeholders in decision making and approvals. - Coordinating with the R&D team for finalizing the recipe/product range specifications. - Be the point person for all technical requirements and specifications of private label products. - Work cross-functionally with team members in particularly the Category and Sourcing Team and suppliers to formulate specifications, development schedules, test and qualification criteria to ensure new products are launched within the specified project requirements. - Communicate product specifications and work with factory to maintain costs while exceeding quality metrics. - Be responsible for the overall production and quality assurance of assigned products/categories. - Ensure product quality and understand product regulations and legal requirements as per Export Market. - Manage product Packaging and branding by coordinating with agencies, vendors and other relevant departments. QUALIFICATION AND SKILL SET: - 5-10 Years of work experience in private label sales - Any Management Graduate/PG - Excellent communication and presentation skills. The work will require interacting with international partners. - Excellent analytical skills - Data oriented approach - Excellent problem solving and organizational skills. - Customer focused attitude. - Ability and desire to manage a team. - Experience in logistics in exporting food / beverages is a plus. - Willingness to travel extensively for business development and a passion for innovation.
