SUMMARY OF THE POSITION : Enterprise Data Management (EDM) / Master Data Management (MDM) Lead is a data professional focusing on building out a master data foundation for multiple data domains. As part of this initiative, this individual will lead the development of systems and processes for data sourcing, mastering and dissemination of data sets across various consumers within the firm. The role will work closely with functional stakeholders, system operations &amp; MIS teams. As a Master Data Management lead, you will play a key role in the organizational growth and long-term success by leading the design and development of effective Master Data Management solutions. This role will be a key enabler for Bira 91 strategic goals around Digital, Customer Experience and Operational Excellence. &nbsp; ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES : - Lead the implementation of systems and processes for one or more master/reference data domains. - Develop an operating model for measuring and monitoring data quality of the assigned domains. - Partner with a cross-functional group of stakeholders to perform root cause analysis of issues to ensure continuous improvement. - Perform hands on Data/Business Analysis and work with assigned squad and the engineering team to ensure solutions are modern, efficient, and meet the business goals. - Develop materials and deliver educational sessions to business and operations teams on data stewardship and best practices for master data management. - Deploy Business rules and Validations on Master Data Fields - Performs ad-hoc data/process analyses, presentations, and special projects as needed. - Monitor latest technologies and market developments for data management tools and technologies to contribute to and execute the evolving data strategy and works with business and technical teams to implement. - Day-to-day interaction with the development and business users to ensure data quality and client satisfaction. QUALIFICATION AND SKILL SET : Basic Qualifications : - 6 to 9 years of relevant data management consulting or industry experience (master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, data modeling) with full lifecycle implementation - 3+ years of experience leading complex data management engagements along with a team. - Familiarity with MDM and/or ETL tools used of applications like Salesforce, SAP, HRIS etc - Technical understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, with implementation and support experience. Experience writing queries in databases using SQL and PL/SQL - Experience with data integration products like Talend, IBM BigInsights, Talend etc. - Experience with Cloud using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an advantage - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational skills and ability to work with both technical and functional resources. - Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent professional experience Skill Set : - Proven skills as a team member or team lead on multiple full life cycle implementations. - A proven resource in defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing, and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines. - Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with the team and other areas. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, developers, and senior management. - Ability to be an individual contributor and a manager. - Effective time management and prioritization skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
