Summary of the position:

The Beacon Trade marketing position's objective is to increase distribution, visibility, and trials to increase sales. The responsible person will lead contract discussions along with the Beacon leads. The person needs to ensure visibility elements are available and deployed in the accounts as per contractual guidelines. He/she will also ensure the promotion and events calendar is prepared with the Beacon accounts a quarter in advance. They are executed as per the contract. This person will also be responsible to drive trials and build volume for innovation products released by B9 Beverages in beacon outlets.

This is a regional role with most of the time being spent in the market. The person is supposed to travel for 7-10 days a month. This person will work closely with the Beacon Manager, Fulfillment team and Product and Growth.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute Trade Marketing initiatives in coordination with Beacon Lead and Product and Growth.

- Build distribution and velocity of Bira91 core products and Innovation products in beacon outlets through visibility and activations.

- Execute display and merchandising guidelines in Beacon channel.

- Curate innovative promotions and events in Beacon channel in-sync with Product and Growth Team.

- Prepare a calendar at an outlet level for the next 90 days on activations and events.

- Responsible for executing all planned activations in the respective outlets as per calendar prepared.

- Drive trade advocacy through trainings.

- Ensure 100% of Beacon accounts are enrolled into All-star app to incentive counter clerk.

- Analyze competition through market information to finalize the marketing element of existing brand and new product launch strategy.

- Secure key sales information from field sales and present business analytics and findings through planned reviews to Divisional Head/ National Trade Marketing Manager on a monthly basis.

- Demonstrate strategic leadership, customer orientation, company values, ethics, and pride through exemplary behavior.

What Do You Need to Have To Join Us:

Experience:

- 5-7 years of experience in Sales, Trade Marketing function in FMCG, Durables, Telecom, Beverages/Alco Beverages.

Communication Skills:

- You Should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, to convey product information, negotiate deals, and present the value proposition to convince customers/stakeholders.

On-Prem/Premium Focus:

- You should have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

- You should have a good understanding of the commercial aspects to drive business growth by executing them on time.

Analytical Ability:

- You should understand various levers of business & their interlinkages. (Mix/Margins/Cost etc.) and make commercially profitable business decisions to drive business growth.

- You should have a structured thinking process in identifying solutions. Ability to gather, interpret & evaluate data to identify patterns, trends & insights. Can suggest solutions based on data analysis to solve business problems.
