Manager/Sr Manager -Financial Reporting - India & International Summary of the Position : Finance Manager will be responsible for : - To prepare statutory financial reports to ensure that the company fully complies with all legislative requirements. - Supporting the accounting group with month end and year-end financial closing activities including review and reconciliations - Supporting the budgeting, forecasting activities - Ensure good control & compliance (financial aspects) environment at Brewery and to safe-guard assets of the company. Role and Responsibilities : 1. Financial Reporting : - Liaising with the international team to close the financial period on time - Preparation of Financial statement of all the subsidiaries Companies - Reconciliation of Inter-Company balances - Contracts/Agreement review w.r.t accounting and compliance - All foreign entities - Review financial/accounting arrangements - Ensure adherence to holding Company accounting policy - Compliance with FEMA 2. Monthly and Year end Closing - India & International : - Preparation of GL entries based on statutory and tax local requirements, archive hard copies of supporting documentation of general entries. - Monthly expense variance analysis - Trial Balance scrutiny - Balance sheet accounts reconciliations - Interaction with other team players to ensure all accruals have been provided for before the deadlines. - Compliances with third party - Providing information to enable smooth execution. - Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with IND-AS and compliance to internal policies 3. Internal Controls and SOPs : - Full understanding of Compliance implications of role and ability to implement relevant processes, identify room for improvement in processes - Articulate system issues clearly to ensure solutions can be identified and implemented - Ensure implementation and monitoring of SOPs for various business operations keeping in view the Internal Controls. - To comply with Delegation of Authority Guidelines (DAG) and all published company policies having financial/ commercial implications 4. Statutory Compliances and Audits : - Ensure compliance on various accounting/ financial/ commercial matters, e.g. statutory, banks, taxation authorities, vendors, customers etc. - To ensure clean Audit - Statutory audit, Tax Audit and other Govt. Audits of the Brewery Qualification and Skill Set : - Chartered Accountant with post qualification experience of 4-6 years - Ability to interact effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization and external consultants - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - High degree of attention to detail - Excellent financial system and excel skills - SAP experience
