Manager - Learning & Development SUMMARY OF THE POSITION The individual is responsible for managing learning interventions for non-sales employees at BIRA 91. The role begins with identifying learning needs & culminates with effective delivery. Individual will be required to keep himself/herself updated on new age learning models and global industry trends in L&D, s/he is required to have a medium- long term view on business to support key priorities by deploying effective learning interventions. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Content Design & Delivery - Design, develop and deliver effective learning content. - consult and work with the L&D head on significant redesigning of the content in order to keep the content and delivery aligned with learning needs. - using data and insights into the business to build or adapt learning methods, materials or technology that will support the learners. - Focus on using blended, virtual, self-directed and experiential learning models, over traditional classroom delivery, so to increase adaptability and effectiveness. - Managing the average learning hours/ learning man-days per employee - Manage sourcing and selection of internal facilitators and external vendors - Conducting Functional & Behavioural Trainings organization-wide Learning Plan & Process: - Identification of learning needs and assisting in preparation of Annual learning Plan - Preparation of learning modules based on identified learning needs. - Maintain and manage the learning calendar for Bira91 - To conduct learning programs as per the approved Calendar. - Adherence & Tracking of the learning budget as per the learning plan - Ensure effective and high-quality learning delivery, in close cooperation with key internal & external stakeholders. - Stimulates learner motivation and encourage participation - Activate learning offerings to employees by liaising with the non-sales HRBPs and Key stakeholders Learning Management System (LMS) - Administration of the company's Learning Management System (LMS) including ongoing development, configuration, curriculum creation and modification & necessary reporting - Perform all administrative tasks in the technology platforms to co-create a learning organisation - Provides technical support to the new users, through appropriate learning/change management interventions to increase user adoption Process Compliance: - Analysing and evaluating the results of training and educational programs (Kirkpatrick model) - Tracking and adhering to the learning Policy of BIRA 91 - Maintains the learning master, tracks the number of man days, keeping the track on actual Vs Delivered trainings QUALIFICATION AND SKILL SET - Postgraduate (MBA/MA psychology) from a good university or B School; exposure to psychometrics is desirable - 5+ years of EXPERIENCE in L&D; exposure to content design is mandatory - Strong knowledge of Training models for Example- Kirkpatrick model & Kolbe model. - MS office, proficiency in Advance Excel and PowerPoint - Prior exposure to administration of LMS platforms (Workday/ Cornerstone/ Success Factors) - Structured / process driven work approach - Assertiveness - Maintain & retain confidential information - Needs to exhibit maturity - Research orientation - Excellent interpersonal & influencing skills - Willingness to work flexibly and openness to travel - Attention to detail - Strong presentation & communication skills
