SUMMARY OF THE POSITION The individual is responsible for managing learning interventions for back-end functions at BIRA 91 (namely, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Brewing & Innovation). The role begins with identifying learning needs, ensuring effective delivery, and culminates with demonstrable changes in the participants- skill levels. The individual will be required to keep himself/herself updated on new age learning models and global industry trends in L&D, s/he is required to have a medium-long term view on business to support key priorities by deploying effective learning interventions. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Learning Plan & Process: - Identification of learning needs and assisting in preparation of Annual Learning Operating Plan - Preparation of learning modules based on identified learning needs - Maintain and manage the learning calendar for given verticals - Conduct learning programs as per the approved Calendar - Regularly check-in with key stakeholders to identify emerging learning needs for teams; and to evaluate on participants- progress on learning interventions - Track the learning budget and ensure adherence basis the learning plan - Activate learning offerings to employees by liaising with the Plant HRBPs and Key internal stakeholders - Stimulate learner motivation and encourage participation - Ensure effective and high-quality learning delivery, in close cooperation with key internal & external stakeholders Content Design & Delivery - Design, develop and deliver effective learning content - Consult and work with the Talent Management head on significant redesigning of the content in order to keep the content and delivery aligned with learning needs - Use data and insights into the business to build or adapt learning methods, materials or technology that will support the learners - Effectively use B-school online to deploy learning aids - Focus on using blended, virtual, self-directed and experiential learning models, over traditional classroom delivery, so to increase adaptability and effectiveness - Managing the average learning hours/ learning man-days per employee - Manage sourcing and selection of internal facilitators and external vendors - Conducting Functional & Behavioural Trainings organization-wide - Ensure cost-efficient delivery of learning aids Learning Management System (LMS) - Administration of the company's Learning Management System (LMS) including ongoing development, configuration, curriculum creation and modification & necessary reporting - Perform all administrative tasks in the technology platforms to co-create a learning organisation - Provides technical support to the new users, through appropriate learning/change management interventions to increase user adoption Process Compliance: - Analysing and evaluating the results of training and educational programs (Kirkpatrick model) - Tracking and adhering to the learning Policy of BIRA 91 - Maintains the learning master, tracks the number of man days, keeping the track on actual Vs Delivered trainings QUALIFICATION AND SKILL SET - Postgraduate (MBA/ MA Psychology) from a good university or B-School; exposure to psychometrics is desirable - 1+ years of EXPERIENCE with handling L&D directly as a COE/ HRBP; exposure to content design is mandatory - At least 1 year of HRBP experience in F&B - Plant exposure is preferred; should have demonstrated the ability to connect with and influence Plant employees across levels - Understanding of Manufacturing Excellence framework; working knowledge of key principles like Six Sigma, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, etc. - Strong knowledge of Training models for Example- Kirkpatrick model & Kolbe model - MS office, proficiency in Advance Excel and PowerPoint - Prior exposure to the administration of LMS platforms (Workday/ Cornerstone/ Success Factors) - Structured/ process driven work approach - Assertiveness - Needs to exhibit maturity and maintain & retain confidential information - Research orientation - Excellent interpersonal & influencing skills - Willingness to work flexibly and openness to travel to plant locations - Attention to detail - Strong presentation & communication skills
