Job Description: Strategic Projects Lead

Role Overview:

As the Strategic Projects Lead, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and overseeing the execution of key projects within our organization. Working closely with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders, you will identify, plan, and implement initiatives that drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance our competitive advantage. Leveraging your management consulting background, you will bring valuable insights and expertise to shape our strategic direction.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead strategic projects: Take ownership of high-impact projects, from conception to completion, by developing comprehensive project plans, managing timelines, allocating resources, and driving project execution to achieve desired outcomes.

2. Strategic planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate the annual strategic plan, aligning it with our overall business vision. Provide valuable insights and recommendations for growth opportunities and risk mitigation.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for sales planning, execution, and performance management. Drive sales transformation initiatives, optimize go-to-market strategies, and enhance supply chain operations.

4. Conduct market research and analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape. Conduct assessments of various functions within the organization to identify areas for transformation and improvement.

5. Project management: Support project delivery and project management activities for strategic initiatives, including brand building, growth strategies, innovations, and sustainability. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives.

6. Standardize processes and drive operational excellence: Establish and standardize processes across functions, implementing tools and technologies to drive operational efficiency. Pilot new initiatives, monitor results, and make data-driven adjustments for continuous improvement.

7. Change management: Drive change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and ways of working. Effectively communicate changes, address stakeholder concerns, and promote a culture of innovation and adaptability.

8. Financial analysis and reporting: Support the FP&A team in preparing investor memorandums, providing valuable insights and analysis. Create compelling material for investor pitches, board meetings, and other key stakeholders, effectively communicating the organization's growth strategy and value proposition.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience in tier 1 management consulting firm.

2. Proven track record of leading and delivering complex strategic projects from conception to completion.

3. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to provide valuable insights and recommendations.

4. Excellent project management abilities, with a focus on planning, execution, and risk management.

5. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

6. Collaborative nature, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and build strong relationships.
