Restaurants Bira 91 Restaurants is the newest vertical from the House of Bira 91, where we aim to deliver on the promise of offering the most exciting Consumer Experience at our Micro-Breweries and Taprooms. We label our Restaurant units as Bira 91 Limited Release Taprooms This is Ground Zero for the most exotic and quirky innovations in the range of Beers (Seasonal, Specialty, and Limited Release), Food (Flavors, Spices, and 'Global yet Local' Cuisines), and Beverages (Classic and Signature Cocktails along with a wide range of spirits and wines). Our Food menu has been specially curated by celebrity star chef Vicky Ratnani, and we have collaborated with expert sommelier Magandeep Singh to craft our Beverages menu. Business Development & Network Expansion - Plan and Execute Project / Restaurant openings including with Franchise Partners, across the Cluster - P&L ownership of the geography (Cluster) in line with the budgeted Annual Operating Plans - Enable cost efficiencies through planning and operations management, including, but not limited to, vendor relations, contract negotiations, cost optimizations etc. - Develop means to improve profit margins at the individual unit (restaurant) level - Explore new opportunities to expand the footprint of the Limited Release Taprooms in the Cluster - Leverage understanding of consumer preferences to create innovative beer-led experiences - Collaborate with the local community of artists/ event managers/ influencers to drive footfalls 2. Restaurant Operations - Understand the impact of unit-level operations on the overall financial goals of the Cluster - Estimate daily food & beverage consumption patterns to anticipate and plan for optimal procurement and inventory with high quality service levels and standards - Knowledge of techniques and equipment for preparing and presenting food & beverage products for consumption - Maintain service, hygiene, and sanitation standards at the Taprooms/ Micro-breweries 3. Consumer Experience - Plan and execute Restaurant Marketing programs including events and activations - Conceptualize beer-led experiences, beer education workshops, consumer trials, collabs, events, etc. - Display leadership in hospitality, exemplify excellent customer service, and create a positive atmosphere for customer relations - Provide services that set a best-in-class experience to enable consumer satisfaction and retention - Provide guidance, feedback, and coaching to teams to drive consumer service 4. Lead and drive a network of Taproom teams - Team building and Training is a key expectation right from Unit Managers to Service Staff, across all personnel - Recruit a team of on-roll and off-roll employees with the required skills to meet the business needs of the Cluster's operations - Empower and train team members to provide a best-in-class Consumer Experience - Utilize strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others - Facilitate Taproom Managers/ Chefs with team briefings to educate staff on menu items including ingredients, preparation methods, unique tastes 5. SOPs, Procedures, and Compliance - Establish SOPs and Procedures for various units within the Cluster and beyond - Ensure compliance with F&B policies, standards, and procedures through regular training and supervising of teams - Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards - Ensure compliance of operations with applicable legislations and local laws including liquor / excise What you need to know/ possess? - Post-graduate in Hospitality Management or Business Administration from a Top Tier college - 8 - 10 years experience in the hospitality sector/ leading a chain of premium restaurants is preferred - Exposure to working in a High-performance and growth-oriented setup is an advantage - Exposure to P&L Ownership is required - Entrepreneurial experience is a big plus - High energy and self-starter attitude is required as the job would involve regular field work - Excellent communication with strong negotiation skills - High degree of creativity, discipline, and a willingness to learn - Experience with handling large teams spread across geographies - Ability to work cross-functionally with Procurement, Finance, HR, and Admin Excited about the role?
