SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:

Role and Responsibilities.

Data and Decision Science Capabilities:

- Have deep technical and Data Engineering expertise: The successful candidate will have a wealth of experience with applying advanced analytics to various business situations, such that they can efficiently and effectively advise multiple teams on the best path to uncovering critical insights for clients.

- Are comfortable managing engagements, and client relationships, and acting as a "thought Leader." Strong presence, strong collaborator and leadership skills and the ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization are a must.

- Have significant experience applying advanced analytics to a variety of business situations and a proven ability to synthesize complex data; as well as a deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical underpinnings, and can translate this into business implications for our clients

- Write technical specifications for change requests and drive the same through IT Partner

- Additional experience in core analytic methods such as predictive modelling, customer segmentation/clustering, network analysis, supply chain optimization, etc.

- Fluency in at least one scripting language (preferably Python)

Business Intelligence and Analytics:

- Build and maintain dynamic data views and semantic layers for reporting purposes

- Expertise in ETL, Data Lake Implementations with solid solution architecture background in data engineering

- Expertise in Automation of Data Delivery from Source Systems to OneDB using Azure Data Factory, PySpark etc

- Build statistical models or apply machine learning techniques to derive insights and solve business problems

- Creating Tableau Dashboards of advanced level expertise helping business visualize and analyze data

Operations:

- Establish SLAs for end user response to the issues faced on planning and forecasting input and outputs

- Enhancements to existing code set for demand planning, supply optimization, SKU Recommendation and Beat Optimization

- Align on Batch Uploads, Manual Uploads periodicity of data from all source systems to One Database

- Maintaining, Refreshing, Bug Fixing and Enhancing Tableau Dashboards

QUALIFICATION AND SKILL SET:

- Bachelor's in computer science with 4+ years of relevant industry work experience providing advanced analytics solutions strongly preferred.

- Strong Expertise & proven experience of MS SQL, PL SQL, SQL database server etc.

- Strong Expertise & proven experience in BI Tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.

- Exposure to statistical models, machine learning techniques and languages such a R, Python

- Proven experience of building database from multiple source systems like SAP, CRM etc.

- Experience with ETL tools like SSIS, Talend, Informatica, etc.)

- Experience of understanding business requirements with Solution design and deployment
