Biological E Limited is hiring for Tax Compliance.

Designation: Assistant General Manager (AGM)

Educational qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience: 10-12 yrs post CA

Job Scope: Responsible for overall Tax compliance, Advise and Litigation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Compliances under Direct Tax, including TDS and TCS payments, returns, Advance tax computation and payment, support on form 15CA, 15CB for foreign payments, transfer pricing documentation, submission of Master file, Income Tax return, Tax audit

- GST compliances including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GST TDS credit (GSTR-7A), job work returns (ITC-04), Annual return (GSTR - 9 and 9C), maintenance of HSN and GST rates for various items if purchase and sale, filing and follow up for GST refunds and other related compliances

- Advise on tax implications relating to various transactions undertaken by the Company, including TDS and GST (RCM) implications on payments to foreign service providers

- Provide inputs and clarifications from tax perspective during statutory audit, tax audit and cost audit

- Overseeing tax compliances of overseas entities with support from consultants

- Coordination with department/consultants for completion of assessments

- Preparation, filing of replies/appeals and representation, coordination with consultants in relation to litigation and other tax proceedings

- The incumbent will also be responsible for tax planning, tax cost optimization and carrying out process improvements to bring in efficiency in the way the tax function is managed

- Regular discussions with relevant stakeholders on various issues relating to tax to bring in discipline amongst the users

- Monthly update to management on the status of compliances, ongoing work and litigation

- Renewal/new approvals of DSIR recognition for R&D units

- Coordination with Consultants and Government for incentives under Production Linked Incentive Scheme

- Any other work related to tax function
