Biocon - Manager/Senior Manager - Program Management

Role/Job Description:

- Dual role : Program manager and Alliance manager for a single/multiple biosimilar assets for global development

Program Management:

- Integrate CMC and CPC project plans in Microsoft projects and customized excel, which comes independently from CMC and CPC project managers to prepare an integrated program level plan

- Review fortnightly CMC and CPC along with Project Leader (PL) from R&D to track and report the progress and performance of assets

- Conduct cross functional team meeting monthly to bring all stakeholders on the same page, resolve conflicts, determining priorities and identifying escalation points to Program Head and Head, R&D

- Lead preparation for internal management review forums like Quarterly Business Review (QBR), Board presentations

- Prepare budget annually, track and manage the expenses on monthly/quarterly basis. Major focus on third party expense

- Lead rate negotiation with third party service providers and liaise with finance, Program Head and Head R&D

- Lead contract negotiation with third party service providers and liaise with legal, finance, Program Head and Head R&D

- Work with cross functional team members to improve Biocon's systems and process to remove redundancies and bottlenecks

- Work with peers in PMO office to continuously improve the project and program management function

Alliance Management:

- Lead preparation of monthly reports to be sent to JDC

- Lead preparation for the Joint Development Committee (JDC) meetings (once a month) and Joint Steering Committee (JSC) meetings (half yearly)

- Manage all expectations of JDC and JSC

- Manage preparation and review of FTE billing statement quarterly

Technical / Functional Skills:

- Total Experience - 5+ years

- Project management experience (at least 3-5 years)

- Good proficiency in Microsoft projects and project management tools (at least 2-3 years)

- PMP certified or pursuing

- Basic knowledge in SAP

- Prior experience in R&D / RA (optional)

Behavioral / Management / Other Skills:

- Team player as it involves managing a big team involving senior leadership like Head R&D and BU

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Good articulation skills - Required in JDC, JSC and QBR meetings
