Job Description:
Creative Copywriting specialist is responsible for writing and editing copy for offline and online marketing communications campaigns (internal + external). The ideal candidate is up to date on the latest trends in copy writing, has a keen grasp of verbal and visual communication, and of course is an exceptional writer. Specifically, this specialist will work with marketing communications, marketing and sales team to create communications collaterals and execute various marketing communication activities targeted for the market, sales, prospects, customers, patients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities of the position:
- Conceptualisation of effective brand & internal launch campaigns
- Develop written materials, including, content for the websites, brochures, flyers, advertisements, whitepapers, newsletters, presentations, and speeches, etc. Proficiency in succinctly writing "benefit-oriented" copy that breaks through and strikes a chord with the reader
- Create and edit written communications for all marketing collateral needs, including but not limited to tradeshow displays, website graphics, trade advertising campaigns, and letter writing for Sr. management
- Develop engaging copy & content for the e-initiatives/Digital media
- Ensure creatives are executed within the agreed strategy, deadlines, and budget
- Lead, teach, mentor members of the creative team
Candidate Pre-Requisites
- Strong, award-winning portfolio that showcases memorable creativity across media
- Minimum bachelor's degree (preferably science) with post-graduate or professional degrees in English literature /master's in journalism/MASSCOM preferred.
- 8-10 Years of Copywriting experience (via in-house, journalistic background, freelance or an ad agency). With minimum 5 years' experience in copywriting, 5 years as a team lead who should not just be good in copywriting but also have the experience of getting the campaigns developed and executed based on the brief.
- Basic understanding of the Healthcare/Pharma industry. Writing for pharma product marketing experience is highly desired.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Attention to Detail - Proofreading, Troubleshooting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required. Graphics program experience is a plus.
- A team player, who has high energy & is self-driven, with a passion to work on creating world class material. No ego. Collaborates easily and often. Displays good judgement, maturity, and enthusiasm.
