Position Summary:

- This role is a part of the Global Supply Planning organization primarily responsible for working closely with Supply Network Planning team, In House delivery Planning, CMO Planning| Logistics| Program Management| Regional Commercial Teams| Warehouse teams| QA/QC| Viatris SC Team| Key account manager for Viatris| Finance| IT| CMO teams on the delivery of the plan for

- L1 - Bangalore & L2 - Malaysia

- DS & DP

- CMOs

- This role is responsible for additionally working closely to drive IBP

- This position will be the owner of all S&OP process and all reporting dashboards publication at assigned interval.

- This position will develop, align, digitize and publish all the SC Planning analytics from RM/PM OTIFs, Production and Quality Commit vs Actual with root causing on gaps, Forecast accuracy,

- The role holder is accountable to the Head of Global SC planning for delivery of the roles and responsibilities.

OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

S&OP Management

Responsibilities span the following:

Process governance:

- Form a companywide strategic roadmap to improve S&OP maturity.

- Align strategic roadmap with key stakeholders across functions, hierarchy and different parts of the business.

- Own the organization S&OP cycle including pre-S&OP and monthly S&OP meetings.

Process design:

- Manage projects to implement improvements to the process.

- Document the current process description in the S&OP playbook and update when needed.

- Assess the current process maturity collaborating with S&OP coordinators across different business units and geographies.

- Align changes to the process as impacted by other changes (e.g., organizational changes in commercial or finance, company structure, M&A, etc.).

- Ensures data generated by functions and programs is suitable for S&OP. Coaching, mentoring and initiation of improvement projects, where required

- Tailor the most appropriate S&OP process to be embraced by the organization to achieve management objectives.

- Guardian of the overall standard and health of the process and transformational or continuous improvement changes.
Team creation:

- Support the hiring, training and onboarding of new S&OP coordinators on overall process.

- Define the competency model and assessment for S&OP coordinator role.

Technology enablement:

- Enable process design through technology and analytics.

- Manage technology upgrades.

Measurement and continuous improvement:

- Define key metrics of S&OP and the description of each metric.

- Track benefits and improvement into the business.

- Channel continuous improvement ideas across the COE and select suitable ones to turn into projects.

- Statistical forecasting

- SC Planning SPOC for Business facing.

S&OE:

- Deploying the S&OE process Globally.

- Ensuring the S&OE meetings take place, gathering required inputs, preparing for the meetings, facilitating and summarizing them to drive decision making and prepare for the following weekly cycle respectively.

- Building a strong integration of planning with execution through the interaction of S&OE and S&OP.

- Keeping participants in the process on track and moving toward managing execution priorities, balancing short-term demand and supply and dealing with S&OP plan exceptions. This is done for the defined cadence (weekly) and execution horizon (0 - 12 weeks).

- Validates the demand with POs available, LCs required, Regulatory clearances, Artwork Details, SKU codes, IL Check, Mfg License Check, Min Shelf Life requirement, Pre shipment documents submission to customer & timelines, Regulatory Confirmation and any other Customer Specific requirement to ensure that the plan is achieved.

- Drives batch release and prioritization with QA and QC for meeting the plan and revenue targets.

- Drive weekly demand - supply meetings with Regional Commercial teams and Viatris SCM/ Quality.

- Order management and driving all documentations related to shipments with CFT teams.

- Drives the Shipment planning with Logistics teams and mitigates risks/ delays proactively to incur no demurrage/ penalties on shipments.

- Shares the Supply plan with dates of Release and Shipment with the larger CFT teams and S&OP stakeholders

- Lead the effort to implement and advocate S&OE: Spearhead the S&OE initiative and champion it across the organization by being the main point of contact for S&OE related queries or discussions.

- Prepare for the S&OE meeting: Prepare and share a pre-read for the meeting which contains a list of agenda items and data that can inform decision making. Maintain a comprehensive view of demand, supply and financial aspects of supply chain operations and use it to identify short-term executional issues. Highlight ways that link tactical planning with granular execution (in case of significant deviations) to control operational costs. Additionally, identify and highlight risks and opportunities to inform decision making in the S&OE meeting.

- Facilitate the S&OE meeting: Facilitate the S&OE meeting in the form of a live working session, ensuring that all information is presented and discussed, all stakeholders are engaged, decisions are made and agreed upon, and execution plans are documented with owners and completion dates.

- Lead the effort to implement and advocate S&OE: Spearhead the S&OE initiative and champion it across the organization by being the main point of contact for S&OE related queries or discussions.

- Prepare for the S&OE meeting: Prepare and share a pre-read for the meeting which contains a list of agenda items and data that can inform decision making. Maintain a comprehensive view of demand, supply and financial aspects of supply chain operations and use it to identify short-term executional issues. - Follow-up post S&OE meeting: Ensure that decisions from the meeting are communicated to each function/department/team to ensure that execution is taking place.

- Support S&OP: Take the output of S&OE to S&OP as key issues need to be escalated for decisions. Present the impact of cost, inventory or service identified from demand and supply reconciliation from S&OE in S&OP. Highlight the impact of change made in the production and purchasing plans during the S&OE process. Ensure timely decisions and executions via a closed loop between S&OP and S&OE.

Sustain the S&OE process:

- Ensure that the S&OE process is sustained to the intended level of maturity.

- Onboard newcomers from different functions on the process and engage them on the key expectations.

- Support in hiring and training demand and supply planners.

- Share and reapply best practices with other business units/geographies.

Improve the S&OE process:

- Report metrics back to the S&OE decision maker (usually commercial in high maturity organizations) and the team to identify progress and root causes.

- Use analytical tools to understand areas for opportunity and change.

- Document current process and work with the S&OE decision maker on continuous improvement, challenges with the process and options to improve the process.

- Continuously seek feedback from stakeholders on the process, meeting effectiveness, metrics and subsequent activities to identify issues to resolve.

- Periodically conduct health checks on the process and outcome.

KPIs Computation, Analytics & S&OP Management:

- Own the reporting & analytics platform and publish reports/Dashboards at defined frequency on Commit vs Actual| Quality release trend| Revenue tracking| Bottlenecks to revenue| Materials coverage trend| Demand vs Commit| KPIs designed and aligned for cross functional teams in line with Plan and revenue targets

- All required analysis in time for S & OP cycle

- Publication of Global Pre-S&OPs | S&OPs decks and driving the S&OP action points closure.

- Continuous Improvement Processes: Planning cycle activities| Supply chain process improvements

- Preparation of Daily/Monthly/Fortnightly/ Weekly dashboards/ MIS/reports & presentations

Education (degree / diploma)

- BE/ B-Tech degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, IT and/or Production

- MBA in Operations - SCM Mandatory, preferrable with second specialisation in IT systems.

- Additionally should be qualified on SC Analytics through the SC Analytics tools.

Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical)

The position will require the following elements:

- S&OP process across different business units, products and geographies within the organization.

- Adjacent processes of S&OP. Examples are: order to cash and financial planning.

- Understanding of the Biosimilar/ Pharma industry.

- In-depth understanding of strategic business goals and objectives.

- In-depth understanding of portfolio planning, demand, supply planning and executive S&OP steps of the process.

- Moderate understanding of financial planning.

- Deep understanding of technology enablement and current technology tools.

- Broad understanding of interdependencies between functions (commercial, sales, marketing, supply chain, finance and manufacturing) and the associated cause-and-effect relationships.

- Deep knowledge of - S&OP and S&OE process, demand planning, supply and inventory planning, new products introduction, resource allocation, master production schedule (MPS) and distribution requirement planning (DRP).

- High Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoints.

- SAP and SAP IBP/ APO and/or JDA and Kinaxis hands on in Supply Planning.

- Functional and hands on experience on Power BI, Tableau, etc

- Strong Analytical ability
