Biocon - Director - Quality Global Program Management

This is a new role in a newly formed team where innovation, agility, and enthusiasm are the key characteristics. We are a team of passionate quality professionals and are looking for like-minded people to join this exciting space with a key focus on making a difference to both people and process. The position will be responsible for:

- Building collaborative relationships with global quality teams, program teams, operations teams, supply-chain teams, and development teams.

- Working closely with cross-functional teams to create and execute a quality project roadmap and specify solutions that improve efficiency.

- Identifying, driving and tracking strategic initiatives and measuring results by monitoring quality metrics across multiple functions.

- Implementing processes and measures to ensure improvements are realized, assessing situations and guiding teams toward both short-term and long-term systemic changes.

- Preparing and executing regular program updates to senior management and delivering an effective feedback strategy that conveys progress and maintains engagement from the team, stakeholders, and business partners.

- Designing and maintaining the department's budget to ensure the availability of optimal resources.

- Assessing possibilities of alternate ways of doing things based on cost, efficiency, productivity and timelines.

- Ability to design and develop dashboards to provide visibility on various strategic initiatives within the quality organization in coordination with functional heads.

- Utilize various PM tools to track deliverables, prepare reports and create visibility, enable decision-making.

- Proficient in designing and preparing effective presentations in coordination with management.

Basic Qualifications:

- Master's Degree in science preferably M.Tech./M.B.A

- 10+ years experience with 5 years of project/program management experience.

- Self-starter capable of taking initiative and working with minimal direction.

- Experienced in using a quality mindset to drive improvements through the application of state-of-the-art tools and concepts.

- Have a strong solution focus and be comfortable working in an environment with high volume workload and not be afraid to get to the ground level.
