- Identify root causes / risks leading to instances of frauds / losses and recommend controls to mitigate those risks  - Maintain data base and trackers on incidents, and prepare reports for higher management when required  - Carry out Fraud Risk Assessments to identify areas specifically vulnerable to fraud, and actively engage with other stake holders to implement fraud monitoring and fraud preventive controls  - Prepare investigation reports for various stakeholders  - Draft the Internal Audit Charter of the organization in line with the international standards.  - Develop riskbased annual audit plans detailing the scope, nature and timing of audit activities.   - Design and recommend internal audit procedures and work programs to the Audit committee.   - Conduct internal audits as per the scope designed by the audit committee to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures.  - Prepare audit reports in line with the approved audit plan.  - Identify key areas of risk within the organization and propose appropriate controls to mitigate the risks.   - Ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations suggested by external auditors.   - Discuss audit findings and recommendations with line managers and report significant issues to senior management and Audit Committee.  - Review all policies and process and recommending changes   - Review the accuracy, timeliness and relevance of financial information and other disclosures provided to management.   - Advise management on the resourcing requirements for the Internal Audit function, including any potential outsourcing arrangements.  - Researches new or technical subjects when required to support audits (Internal Financial Controls IFC, Fraud Analytics etc).  Continuous Improvement :  - Assist the development of an internal control culture, including training to staff  - Monitor the trends and developments in the internal audit area  - Conduct ad-hoc investigations and reviews as requested by senior management or the Board of Auditors  - Participate in the Audit Committee meetings  - Liaise with the external auditor on internal control issues
