Business Development Associate Job Description: Binocs.co

1. Key Responsibilities:

This is a flexible role encompassing a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

Market Research & Business Generation: Conduct market research to identify potential clients (Debt/Private Credit Funds, Borrowing Companies, Service Providers), analyse industry trends and competitor activities, develop targeted prospect lists, and generate leads through various channels (industry events, cold calling/emailing, website, webinars).

Building & Nurturing Client Relationships: Meet and maintain contact with prospects/clients, understand their needs through active listening, effectively communicate Binocs.co's value proposition, and build trust through exceptional customer service and ongoing support.

Sales Development: Conduct pitch call, demo, and training with potential clients; assist the sales team by preparing/updating presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations tailored to specific client needs; negotiate contract terms and pricing; track and monitor the sales pipeline.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilise CRM and other tools to track client interactions, leads, and sales activities; analyse data to identify trends, measure campaign effectiveness, and refine lead generation strategies; prepare reports for leadership on business development performance.

Additional Responsibilities: Stay updated on industry trends and regulations, participate in international industry events and conferences for networking, and collaborate with other departments for alignment and achieving company goals.

2. Qualifications:

- MBA/equivalent from a top university

- 1+ years of industry experience in a similar role

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Commercial acumen and willingness to learn/adapt

- Knowledge of the financial services industry (especially private equity/credit) preferred

- Willingness to travel globally for business development

- Keen to work from office, no moonlighting and high on ethics and integrity
