Senior Manager (Operations) - Bijak With deep roots spread across multiple agricultural commodities and geographies, Bijak is currently looking for Senior Manager ( Operations) to join our stellar team and lead operations across multiple Regions of Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka. Roles and Responsibilities : - Candidate would be directly reporting to Operations Head/ Co-Founders and would own end to end operation of a region which comprises of 20-25 Districts - Hire, Train and Manage a team of upto 10 people comprising Managers /Field - Executives and develop SOPs for daily operational requirements - Ensure that the team strictly adheres to company guidelines and policies for delightful customer experience - Proactively participate in setting up targets, reviewing team performance and contribute to central teams by strategic inputs and changes required for improvement. - Ensure a smooth onboarding of mandi agents / suppliers / institutions in specified region through multiple channels over Bijak's platform - Suggest modes of communication and initiatives required to ensure that the companies policies and offerings reaches to customers namely mandi agents / suppliers / institutions - Be a companies face in region and hence work as organisations representative for key vendors, government officials and others as and when required Requirements : - Undergraduate / Master's degree ( preferably in Management, Engineering, Science, Agriculture) - 4-10 years of work experience in Operations domain - Process and Data driven approach with an ability to continuously improve upon existing process in place and keep a track over team performance - High energy, open to travel across region, go-getter attitude and ability to fit in startup culture - Must be a self starter and should be able to lead without much support from external team - Fluency in Hindi &amp; Regional languages is must ( as applicable ) Benefits: - Option of working closely with well experienced leadership team having expertise across multiple domains - Contribute in leadership team of a VC funded startup from its initial stage - Industry standard compensation with multiple other perks and holiday benefits - Golden opportunity of acting as CEO in specified region and having end to end ownership would ensure steep learning curve
