Job Description

- As part of our Business Development team you would be required to represent the BigCity brand and WIN new business, within our target market i.e. top 1000 companies.

- As a Sr. Manager - BD you will be responsible for increasing revenue through new clients and generating new opportunities the Region assigned in the Consumer & Sales Promotions, Contest and Sweepstakes & Loyalty Marketing.

- This is a B2B concept Sales role, hence you will be responsible for achieving targets at an individual level & the objectives set by the company.

- The Primary role of Sr. Manager - Business Development- will include prospecting, cold calling, regular interactions, making presentation/pitches to India's top Brand managers, Marketers, Marketing Heads with intent to WIN business.

- Profile would also involve generating additional business from existing accounts by recommending suitable products/promotions/incentives based on the relevance and requirements.

- Managing day-to-day relationships with clients and developing a deep understanding of their requirements and long-term business strategies.

- Thinking on your feet is mandatory - however its most important to understand clearly the brands objectives, and marketing goals to create suitable programmes using BigCity's in-house rewards & tech based solutions.

- Our business model revolves around designing & delivering bespoke Consumer & Trade Promotions, Trade Schemes and Loyalty Program campaigns via mix of Rewards, Technology & End to end campaign fulfilment. Therefore, an in depth understanding of Brands, Marketing Strategies, BTL/ ATL promotions, Loyalty Programs, etc will be of primary importance.

- To build the seeding database from internal and external data sources, Generate and maintain a strong sales funnel

- Working hours will range from 10:00AM to 18:00 PM on Monday - Friday basis. Location for current employment is in Gurgaon

- We have our Head Office in Bangalore and two branch offices in Mumbai and Gurgaon

Desired Skills and Requirements :

- The successful candidate to have more than 3-4 years plus year's experience in a business environment in a client acquisition role

- We are looking for candidates with excellent communication and presentation skills and ideally having a strong Concept / Solution Sales background.

- Good understanding of Brand Strategies, Consumer Promotions, Marketing Calendar Approach etc

- Must have been exposed to B2B corporate sales and concept sales with a keen sales and marketing acumen. Specifically dealing with Marketing Heads, Chief Marketing Officers, Trade Marketing teams will be an added advantage.

- Ability to develop strong relationships to build either an industry or functional network

- Candidates having good contacts with Brand and Marketing Managers and Decision Makers in sectors like Retail, Telecom, Consumer Durables, FMCG, Banking and others will be preferred.

- Candidates should have prior experience of working in a team and must be willing to travel across India.
