Big Data Hadoop Architect

Role :

- Help establishing Hadoop as a preferred choice for Telecom customers

- Maintain technical acumen in Hadoop ecosystem and related areas to help guide evolution of the platform

- Interact with internal customers to elicit requirements for the platform, travel when needed; help build the platform roadmap

- Identify Hadoop improvements with respect to cloud deployments, define roadmap of Hadoop-as-a-Service offering of Client

- Communicate with customers/users (currently only in China) to understand pain areas

Skills :

- Experience with Hadoop solution architecture and development with strong understanding of Big Data solution architectures

- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly

- Strong communication and self-management skills, ability to engage with senior leadership in the organization
