Big Data Analyst - IIT/NIT

An excellent opportunity to work with a start up organisation which is into Logistics. They are started by IITians and Stanford University aluminus.

Qualification/Criteria:

Candidate should be B.Tech or M.Tech (Computer Science or related fields) from IITs or tier 1 NITs.

Technical Requirements

- Database

- Big Data Databases

- Big Data Analytics (Hadoop/Mapreduce/YARN/HDFS/Hive/HBase/Mahout)

- Data Mining algorithms (Regression, Clustering, Pattern Matching)

- 1 programming language

Relevant experience required: 2- 5 years. Note this is not the total experience.

Professional Requirements:

- 2-5 years of hands-on experience coding in a currently popular web application framework.

- Worked on mongo or other NoSQL systems

- Having knowledge of Hadoop and related technologies

- Have been into data warehousing and analyzing large scale data.

- Development experience in JAVA

- Knowledge of in-object oriented programming concepts and design

- Familiar with data mining concepts and machine learning algorithms

- Understanding of data flows, data architecture, ETL and processing of structured and unstructured data.

- Strong in Computer Science fundamentals, Data Structures & Algorithms.

- Knowledge of logistics domain or previous start up experience would be a plus
