Bid4best - Chief Technology Officer

We are looking for an exceptional CTO who is passionate and has a proven ability to attract and lead a local team to deliver a world-class product.

You Will

- Partner with the founders to create a technical vision and roadmap for the company

- Be hands on and create awesome code with the rest of the team

- Build and lead a top-tier team

- Obsess about quality and performance establishing a continuous delivery process

- Play a key role in shaping our product roadmap, strategy, design, architecture, and DevOps

- Transparent, confident and focused on the development and success of the team

You Will Have

- 7+ years of experience in open source technologies and building modern web and mobile applications

- Proven track record of building large-scale, highly reliable, and highly available cloud based applications

- Experience in agile software development and in the ScrumMaster role

- Hand on experience of coding and building Architecture

- Should have understanding on any of the Python / Java / Node.js / ROR /PhPetc.

- Excellent understanding of UI, General Web functions and standards, Web application and programming languages

- Expert knowledge in MYSQL database and Parse. Good working experience for handling third party API

A Typical Day For You Might Include The Following 

- Using data infrastructure that ingest and transforms data from different sources and customers at scale. 

- Using machine/deep learning infrastructure . 

- Partner end-to-end with Head of Departments to understand customer requirements and design prototypes and bring ideas to production 

- Working with internal teams to ingest their data and sprinkle machine/deep learning fairy dust on their products. What We Care About

You need to be an expert in coding, including Java/Python and Object-Oriented Programming.

Desired Skills: 

- 7-10 years of hands on experience in programming with Java or Python platform.

- At least 2-years experience with Machine Learning libraries, implementing and deploying ML-based offerings in production. 

- You should have some notion of how to build, test, and deploy code to run on cloud infrastructure 

- Ability to technical lead a small team on ML Engineers and developers to take AI applications to production. 

- Experience with open source tools for information retrieval 

- Data visualization 

- Experience with Deep Learning for NLP and Image processing would be a plus 

- Experience with building ML and DL models using cloud-based ML APIs as well Machine Learning Libraries 

- Experience developing in open-source machine-learning libraries such as Apache Mahout or MLLib 

- Strong understanding of security, including threat propagation and malware analysis.
