- Bachelor's in management/engineering/ IT/logistics or any other relevant discipline

- MBA preferred but not mandatory

Experience:

Total exp. 6-10 yrs

- Min. 5+ years in bid management

- Previous exposure to complex RFPs and Tenders both in B2G and B2B environment.

- Sound understanding of RFP/Tender structure, format and language

- Having extensive experience & understanding of the bid management process

- Should have worked in Bid Management role in a mid/large IT organization.

Responsibilities:

- Scan target markets for new relevant tenders and RFPs and bring these to the notice of Sales leadership to evaluate participation.

- Manage the bid qualification (bid go / no go) process for new opportunities.

- Detailed study of the RFP/Tender document and break it up into executable tasks by teams.

- Project manage inputs from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and delivery and escalate in case of any non-compliance

- Collate the responses and inputs in the standard bid response template with placeholders wherever necessary.

- Contributing to the written proposal - both in terms of content and presentation (such as preparation of a management summary)

- Preparing and reviewing the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all services are included in the final price to the customer

- Organize internal team reviews and final review with sales leadership

- Ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids. Owner of the bid submission - online via portal or email, post or hand delivery via sales team or partners.

- Manage the Prebid clarification process, the bid submission, clarification during evaluation and the final score by the client.

- Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues

- Maintain a repertoire of tender / bid documents like company registration, GST, PAN, templates, customer ref. letters, team member resumes, etc

- Contribute to the improvement of the process with best practices used in other organizations.
