BI Worldwide - Associate Director - Procurement & Operations

Job Role Vision:

A seasoned professional, the Associate Director Operations and Purchase will be someone with a passion for customer success, has worked with large enterprise decision-makers and has the ability to influence and inspire. In your role, you will be a part of a team who are leading in innovation by automating the processes, implementing bots, improving on Participant satisfaction scores and adhering to the SLA for clients. Highly skilled at Purchase and Operations. Catalog Management, Sourcing and order processing also will be under this person's forte.

Role & Responsibilities:

Must have :

- Someone with strong sourcing, catalogue management with vendor development and negotiation skills (this is extremely critical for the success of the role)

- Strong ppl management skills

- Strong India market experience

- Multi category management exposure (most of the larger ecommerce players have ppl only with 1 vertical - Apparels or Electronics kind of experience and that limits the persons exposure to alternate categories and vendor networks)

- Must have had accountability for managing yield, margins from catalogue

Good to have :

- Experience in designing and implementing promotions, discounts from listed merchants, creating events such as "prime day" etc to drive redemptions

- Experience in creating additional revenue streams from banner sales, catalogue listing, discount coupons etc

- Experience in developing white label brands, direct sourcing from manufacturers, customizing and developing new products

- Should have managed a team of sourcing and/or operations personnel to achieve the overall goals.

Requirements:

- Proven working experience of 15+ years in the similar industry

- Experience in catalogue Management, Sourcing and order processing

- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in "reading" the market

- Talent in negotiations and networking

- Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software

- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers

- Experience in collecting and analyzing data

- Strong leadership capabilities

- Should have managed a team of 10-12 professionals - Experience in building and inspiring teams
