IBM – BI Architect

- Drive organization competency, capability on IBM technology platform

- Overall, 13 + years of experience

- Min 10 years of DW/BI experience and 5 years in IBM BI/DW technologies

- Worked on for RFP/RFI/DD for defining solution and effort estimation.

- Should be good in DW Concepts and thorough end-to-end BI solutioning using IBM product suites like Datastage, Cognos BI, Netezza (Knowledge on FPM like Tm1/CEP is added advantage).

- Strong in any database (Oracle/SQL Server/DB2/Teradata)

- Good knowledge in both Relational and multi-dimensional Data modeling, data acquisition strategy

- Should be aware of more than 1 BI products

- Should have done atleast one enterprise BI implementation & have handled VLDB warehouse

- Collaborates and conducts meetings with business owners and end-users on the methodology of utilizing quantitative, analytical and business skills and knowledge to understand crucial data needs.

- Develops standards, procedures, and best practices for analytical usage while staying abreast of new IBM BI offerings

- Demonstrates a deep understanding of IBM-BI applications in order to partner with business, developer, and infrastructure teams.

- Define software and solutions to support business needs.

- Develops and implements Enterprise Cognos Business Intelligence (BI) application architecture, solutioning, security plans and processes.

- Good problem solving & analytical skills

- Analyze and Designs analytical and reporting applications. Utilize knowledge of data and data manipulation techniques to implement functional requirements into technical spec.

- Provides technical quality assurance, and documents the resolution of technical problems by the business.

- Project/team Leadership experience of at least 3 years
