About the Job: As part of the Group Corporate Communications team, role is responsible for building and managing the reputation of Bharti Enterprises and its group companies. Ensure adherence to communications guidelines & policies and preparing all communications relating to financial and shareholder issues, regulatory and policy matters. Work closely with group companies for all important announcements, interactions, major issues & crises. Impact that the role will make: - Favorable positioning of key national initiatives and announcements of Bharti Enterprises among internal & external stakeholders. - Ensuring required coverage on Chairmanship for Corporate Office and other businesses including Airtel. - Content development for press releases, media interactions, press briefings for Corporate Office - Developing and maintaining good media relationships through regular media interactions, media rounds, formal & informal meetings with journalists covering government policy and relevant business sectors (in particular telecom, ICT, space, strategic affairs) - Managing any negative fallout of a crisis or emergency situation through crisis management plans and media statements. - Updating PR and external communication guidelines from time to time. - Coordinating communication activities across group companies. - Follow news about strategic developments and topics of interest and prepare reports for consumption of senior management.
