Job Overview: We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced VP - Sales & Business Development to join our growing organization. With 6 - 10 years of relevant experience, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in strengthening our Sales operations and ensuring the companys growth.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. New Business Development for export of Agri Commodities for National & International Markets

2. Building strong relationships with new and existing buyers for export of AgriCommodities

3. Understand buyer quality protocols and communicate the same to the procurement team

4. Identify buyers with regular requirement of large quantities for Agri Commodities

5. Analyze trends in commodities pricing

6. Assist in procuring right grade/quality of Agri Commodities at the best price

7. Market survey of Indian imports and exports markets

8. Research orientation towards exporting and importing countries

9. Develop and implement a robust supply chain strategy aligned with the company's mission and goals, focusing on enhancing farmers' profitability and ensuring the availability of essential agricultural resources.

10. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

11. Identify cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain, analyze cost structures, and optimize processes to reduce expenses while maintaining quality.

12. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential disruptions in the supply chain, such as weather-related issues or transportation challenges.

13. Lead and mentor a team of sales & supply chain professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success.

14. Manage the Profit & Loss of the sales, including activities like revenue retention and optimization, customer churn, pricing, and cash flow management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in AgriBusiness, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

2. 6 - 10 Years experience in sales of Agri Commodities with Reputed Global Trading orImport Export Companies

3. Experience of Export/Import in Global Trading/APAC/ Middle East/ Europe will be preferred

4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
