BharatPe - Policy Head - Working Capital/Supply Chain Financing

Job Purpose

1. Framing credit policies, SOP, procedures and implementation for existing portfolio and new product development (MSME, Working capital lending).

2. This role is responsible for devising and implementation of credit and risk strategy aligned with the market trends to build and maintain portfolio quality.

3. To keep track of delinquency levels and ensuring requisite follow up to regularized overdues in a time bound manner.

Job Requirements

Qualifications - CA/ICWAI/MBA from Tier I/II institute

Experience - 5 to 10 years' experience in credit policy formulation implementation, risk metrics, and scorecard development

Functional Competencies

(Job responsibilities) - Sound knowledge of policies / lending frameworks of Fintech/NBFC

- Good knowledge of credit evaluation methods, tools & techniques

- Interacting with cross functional teams, driving the credit policy and ensuring correct implementation of credit policy guidelines in origination system and decisioning platforms

- Portfolio monitoring / tracking & escalation of adverse events in the portfolio.

- Working knowledge of the general Legal framework in which the NBFCS/Fintech operates in India and apply the same Sound understanding of regulatory guidelines on credit issued by RBI and local laws and regulations that impact businesses in general.

- To recommend policies with agreed process workflows

- Provide guidance to the Sales team on areas of policy and processes

- Knowledge of various supply chain, working capital financing product
