Director - Personal Loans and Credit Line (PostPe)
As the PostPe network grows, we will test newer models and engagements for revenue growth, and you will get an opportunity to straddle zero-to-one experiments and expanding the scope of proven projects as we focus on blitz scaling our revenue growth
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading the charge on growing profitably BharatPe's consumer lending business Postpe.
Functional Expertise:
- Develop and execute strategies with cross functional teams to expand availability of our unsecured lending product to Postpe's existing consumer base and also acquire new customers on to the Postpe platform. This will need close collaboration with data science, risk, sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities, build the engine for rapid experimentation, prove pilots and transition successful ideas into established processes
- Continuously assess data and market feedback to unlock growth of our loan book and work with sales, risk and product teams on key ideas that help us improve funnel conversion rates in our existing customer segments and geographies.
- Understand deeply customer segments and develop critical strategies for developing and delivering our go-to- market. Work with product, technology, GTM and other key cross functional teams to build flexible architectures that will fuel segmented GTM strategies.
- Understand the nuances of consumer lending business in terms of funnel optimization, user experience, effective pricing, risk and collection process with the end objective to drive a profitable P&L.
Interaction:
- Work closely with operations, product, technology & NBFC partner teams to ensure our lending processes across stages are best-in-class in terms of their efficiency, effectiveness, responsiveness & cost
- Work on with Sales, Risk, Ops and Data Science on strategies to predict and onboard profitable customers and further optimize P&L by enhancing revenue yield on those customers
Problem Solving:
- Evaluate new product innovations and opportunities that enable higher conversion rates in lending
- Run rigorous root cause analysis on consumer issues on lending and work on engagements with technology and support teams to deliver best in class experience through effective strategies that prevent breakdown, automate support and increase overall responsiveness of the system to merchant needs.
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate or Post-Graduate from a Tier 1 College
- Graduate - 8-10 years of experience
- MBA - 6-9 years of experience
- Preferably: 2-3 years of startup experience & 1-2 years of consulting
Skills:
- Solid problem solving capabilities - you are able to identify problems, break them down, identify root causes and build solutions that can be both tactical and/or strategic
- Communication and Stakeholder management - you are able to present your point of view cogently and are able to engage effectively with everyone from external partners to CXOs
Behaviors:
- A curious mind and a mastery over numbers - you are comfortable with ambiguity, love to experiment and data excites you
